It is rated 6 A at 50 °C with a C-curve trip characteristic and a 10 000 A Icn breaking capacity at 230 V AC, 50/60 Hz. The integrated earth-leakage protection is set to 100 mA sensitivity, covering both overcurrent and ground-fault in one DIN-rail clip-on unit.
The 6 A rated current at 50 °C is the continuous load the RCBO can carry without tripping; for a distribution board in a warm cabinet, that derating is already baked in — no extra headroom needed for ambient temperature up to 50 °C. For a typical TN earthing system with a 6 A outgoing circuit, 10 kA is well above the prospective fault level at the board end of most commercial runs.
The module occupies 2 x 9 mm pitches — 18 mm wide. Neutral is on the left. Tunnel-type terminals accept 1…16 mm² rigid or 1…10 mm² flexible conductors; tighten to 2 N·m. Strip 13 mm. The toggle control gives local ON/OFF indication. Padlockable with a Ø 4 mm padlock.
Designed and tested to BS EN 61009-1, the harmonized standard for RCBOs. The part is suitable for isolation and has a contact position indicator. The electrical durability is rated at 5000 cycles, mechanical at 20 000 cycles. Limitation class 3 indicates good energy-limiting performance under short-circuit conditions.
