It protects a 1P+N circuit at 32 A rated current (50 °C ambient) with a 10 kA breaking capacity at 230 V AC, and adds integrated earth-leakage protection set at 100 mA sensitivity.
The 32 A rating at 50 °C means this RCBO carries a full 32 A load continuously at typical panel ambient temperatures without derating — useful for final subcircuits feeding socket outlets or fixed equipment in distribution boards. The 100 mA earth-leakage sensitivity is a deliberate choice — it's less sensitive than the typical 30 mA used for personal protection, so it's better suited for circuits where some natural leakage is expected (long cable runs, multiple IT loads) and the priority is fire protection or equipment protection rather than shock prevention. Thermal-magnetic trip technology means the thermal bimetal handles overloads (slow, inverse-time) and the solenoid handles short-circuits (instantaneous). No electronics to fail, no auxiliary power needed for the trip function.
Tunnel terminals accept 1–16 mm² rigid or 1–10 mm² flexible cable; tighten to 2 N·m. Rated for TN earthing systems only. The device is intended as an outgoer in the distribution board — not a main switch. It is suitable for isolation (full contact position indicator and padlockable with a Ø4 mm padlock). Electrical durability is 5,000 cycles; mechanical durability 20,000 cycles. For a final-circuit RCBO switched infrequently (once a week or less) that's a long service life; for frequent switching duty (daily on/off) consider a contactor instead.
