It combines a 32 A thermal-magnetic trip unit (C-curve, magnetic tripping limit 5...10 x In) with integrated 30 mA earth-leakage protection in a single DIN-rail module.
The 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity provides additional personnel protection in circuits where the RCBO serves both as the overcurrent device and the RCD — common in final subcircuits supplying socket outlets or portable equipment in commercial fit-outs. This matters when coordinating with a downstream MCB in a distribution board.
Clip-on mounting to DIN rail (35 mm per EN 60715). The 3P+N unit occupies 10 modules of 9 mm pitch (90 mm total width). Neutral is on the left. Tunnel-type terminals accept 0.75...16 mm² rigid or 0.33...10 mm² flexible conductors; tighten to 2 N·m. Strip 15 mm of insulation. IP20 rated for the device body; IP40 when enclosed in a modular enclosure per IEC 60529. Suitable for installation in a standard distribution board with a gland plate or cable entry — not for open-panel or washdown environments. Local signalling (ON, OFF, fault trip) on the toggle gives a quick visual check of the circuit state without needing a multimeter — useful for MRO walk-throughs.
