In a distribution board serving fixed equipment (pumps, compressors, lighting), this is the right choice to avoid nuisance trips from accumulated leakage on long cable runs. The C curve means the magnetic release operates between 5 and 10 times the rated current — 100 to 200 A for this 20 A unit.
