The A9D56845: The 45 A rating at 50 °C is the continuous current the RCBO can carry without tripping under normal conditions — sized for a final subcircuit feeding a group of loads or a single large appliance. The 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity provides personal protection against indirect contact and is the standard threshold for socket-outlet circuits in many jurisdictions.
Integration notes
The RCBO mounts via plug-on connection to an Isobar A or Isobar B distribution board busbar — no DIN rail required. The 18 mm width (2 x 9 mm pitches) means it occupies a single module position in the board. Top terminals accept up to 25 mm² rigid or 16 mm² flexible; bottom terminals accept up to 16 mm² rigid or 10 mm² flexible. Tightening torque is 3.5 N·m at the top, 2 N·m at the bottom. Wire stripping length is 14 mm for top connection, 13 mm for bottom. The neutral is on the left (PoN — plug-on neutral). IP20 finger-safe with the enclosure closed; IP40 within the modular enclosure.
