The 13 A rated current (In) and curve C (5–10 × In magnetic trip) mean this RCBO is sized for general-purpose circuits feeding socket outlets, lighting, or small loads where moderate inrush is expected — not for motor starting or heavy inductive loads that would need a D curve. The 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity provides additional protection against electric shock in circuits where the standard is required (e.g., socket circuits in many IEC countries). For panels with a higher prospective short-circuit current, upstream current-limiting devices or a higher-rated breaker would be needed. IP20 on the device body, IP40 in a modular enclosure — fine for dry indoor panels, not for washdown environments.
Installation and wiring notes
Clip-on DIN-rail mount, neutral on the left. Tunnel terminals accept 1–16 mm² rigid or 1–10 mm² flexible cable; tighten to 2 N·m. Strip 14 mm. The 18 mm phase-to-phase pitch and 9 mm phase-to-neutral pitch are standard for the Acti9 range — busbars and comb connectors fit directly. Local signalling shows fault indication and ON/OFF status on the toggle. Electrical and mechanical durability are both rated at 20,000 cycles — adequate for normal switching duty in a distribution board; not intended for frequent manual switching as a disconnect.
