The Schneider Electric A9DC7725 is an Acti9 iCV40N residual-current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) — a combined MCB and RCD in a single 3P+N module, rated at 25 A with a 300 mA earth-leakage sensitivity and a C-curve magnetic trip characteristic (5 to 10 × In).
The 25 A rated current (In) and C-curve mean this RCBO is sized for general-purpose lighting and socket-outlet circuits where inrush from small motors or fluorescent ballasts is expected — the C-curve holds through 5 to 10 times In before magnetic tripping, so it avoids nuisance trips on moderate starting surges. The breaking capacity (Icn) is 6000 A at 400 V AC, 50/60 Hz, conforming to EN/IEC 61009-2-1. The integrated earth-leakage protection trips when leakage exceeds 300 mA.
Tunnel-type terminals accept 1 to 16 mm² rigid or 1 to 10 mm² flexible conductors; tightening torque is 2 N·m. Wire stripping length is 14 mm for both top and bottom connections. IP20 rated (finger-safe) on the front face; IP40 in a modular enclosure — suitable for installation inside a distribution board where the enclosure provides the environmental seal.
