The A9KR12463BQ is a Schneider Electric Acti9 ID K residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) — a 4-pole, voltage-independent device rated for 63 A continuous current with 100 mA earth-leakage sensitivity.
The 100 mA sensitivity is less sensitive than the 30 mA used for personal shock protection; it's intended for fire protection and equipment protection where nuisance tripping from normal leakage on long cable runs would be a problem. Breaking and making capacity is rated at Idm 630 A and Im 630 A — that's the fault current the RCCB can interrupt under residual and overcurrent conditions respectively. It's not a high-fault-level device; upstream protection (MCB or fuse) must limit prospective fault current to within this rating. The instantaneous trip time means no intentional delay — it clears a residual fault within the standard response window of EN/IEC 61008-1. Clip-on mounting to a 35 mm DIN rail, 72 mm wide (4 module widths at 18 mm each), 81 mm tall, 68 mm deep. The biconnect terminals accept 1...35 mm² rigid or 1...25 mm² flexible cable, top or bottom, with a 3.5 N.m tightening torque and 14 mm strip length.
Compliant with IS 12640-1, EN/IEC 61008-1, and EN/IEC 61008-2-1 — the Indian and international standards for RCCBs. Tropicalisation class 2 per IEC 60068-1, pollution degree 2, and 95% relative humidity at 55 °C storage tolerance. Electromagnetic compatibility tested to 8/20 µs impulse withstand at 200 A per EN/IEC 61008-1. Storage temperature range -25...85 °C.
