What the D curve and 6 A rating mean for your panel
The A9N21394 is a Schneider Electric ProDis DT40N miniature circuit breaker with a D tripping curve, rated 6 A, 3 poles, and a breaking capacity of 6 kA Icn at 400 V AC per EN/IEC 60898-1 and 10 kA Icu at 400-415 V AC per IEC 60947-2. The D curve magnetic trip fires at 10 to 14 x In.
The 3-pole body takes 6 modules of 9 mm pitch (54 mm wide). Tunnel-type terminals accept 0.33 to 10 mm² flexible or 0.75 to 16 mm² rigid upstream and downstream; strip length is 13 mm, tighten to 2 N.m. IP20 finger-safe front. The toggle gives local ON/OFF indication. If you need earth-leakage protection, a separate RCCB or RCBO block is required — this breaker is thermal-magnetic only.
NF quality label and dual EN/IEC standards cover most European and many international installations.
