The Schneider Electric A9N3P16BIN is a 3-pole miniature circuit-breaker from the Acti9 xC60 range, rated at 16 A with a B-curve trip characteristic.
The B-curve trips magnetically at 4 x In (±20 %), so a 16 A breaker clears short-circuit faults between roughly 51 A and 77 A instantaneously — suited for resistive or general-purpose loads where inrush is low. The 10 kA breaking capacity at 380–415 V AC (IS/IEC 60947-2) means it safely interrupts fault currents up to that level on a 400 V three-phase supply without upstream cascading. At 100–125 V DC the Icu rises to 15 kA, covering DC-side distribution in telecom or solar combiner boxes.
The breaker occupies 6 x 9 mm pitches (54 mm width) on a 35 mm DIN rail, with a depth of 77.5 mm and height of 85 mm. IP20 finger-safe terminals suit enclosed panel mounting.
