The Schneider Electric A9N3P25BIN is a three-pole miniature circuit breaker from the Acti9 xC60 line, rated 25 A with a B trip curve. The 10 kA breaking capacity at 380–415 V AC (IS/IEC 60947-2) means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to that level without welding its contacts or venting arc gas into the enclosure — important when the available fault current at the panel is known to be under that threshold.
The 25 A continuous rating (In) is the current the breaker carries indefinitely without tripping; it matches the ampacity of the downstream conductors. The B curve means the magnetic trip fires at 4 x In ±20 % — so between roughly 80 and 120 A instantaneously — making it a good fit for resistive or general-purpose loads where inrush is modest (lighting, heaters, small motor control circuits with separate overload protection). The 10 kA Icn at 415 V AC is the rated short-circuit capacity under IS/IEC 60947-2 for a Category A breaker (no intentional short-time delay). That standard also certifies the breaker for isolation — the toggle gives visible open contacts when switched off.
Clip-on mounting on 35 mm DIN rail — standard across the Acti9 range. The housing is 54 mm wide (three 18 mm modules), 85 mm tall, 77.5 mm deep, so it takes three 9 mm pitches on the rail. Tunnel-type terminals accept up to 25 mm² rigid or 16 mm² flexible copper; wire strip length is 13 mm.
