The A9Q11225 is a voltage-independent add-on residual current device (RCD) from the Schneider Electric Acti9 range, designed to plug directly into an iC60 MCB for combined overcurrent and earth leakage protection in a single module. Type AC means it detects alternating residual currents only — not suitable for pulsating DC or smooth DC faults. The trip is instantaneous (no intentional time delay), so coordination with downstream devices must be considered. Voltage-independent operation means it does not require an external power supply to trip, unlike electronic RCDs.
