The 63 A rated current and 100 mA sensitivity make it suitable for general-purpose branch-circuit protection in commercial and industrial AC networks at 380-415 V, 50/60 Hz.
The 63 A rated current (In) is the continuous load the RCCB can carry without tripping under healthy conditions — sized for a feeder or submain, not for final subcircuits below 20 A. The 100 mA earth-leakage sensitivity is a protection threshold for equipment or circuits where a 30 mA device would nuisance-trip due to natural leakage (e.g., long cable runs, heaters, or multiple loads). Type A detection covers sinusoidal AC residual currents and pulsating DC residual currents up to 6 mA smooth DC — the minimum for circuits with single-phase rectifiers, switching power supplies, or variable-speed drives. The instantaneous trip (no intentional delay) means it clears earth faults within tens of milliseconds; this is standard for personnel protection but must be coordinated with upstream time-delayed RCCBs or RCBOs to avoid cascade tripping. Breaking capacity Idm is 1500 A (Im also 1500 A), and the rated conditional short-circuit current (Icn) is 10 kA — meaning the RCCB can withstand a 10 kA fault without damage when protected by an upstream fuse or MCB of appropriate rating.
Neutral is on the left (fixed position). Wire stripping length is 14 mm for both top and bottom connections. The toggle control has a contact-position indicator and accepts a padlocking device for lockout/tagout.
