The 4-pole (4P) version handles three-phase plus neutral, with the neutral on the left side of the module. The rated conditional short-circuit current (Icn) is 10 kA — the maximum prospective fault current the device can withstand when backed by an upstream overcurrent protective device. The rated breaking and making capacity (Idm/Im) is 1500 A, sufficient for clearing high-impedance earth faults without welding the contacts.
The module occupies 8 x 9 mm pitches (72 mm width), so it takes up four standard 18 mm module positions in the enclosure. Depth is 73 mm, height 91 mm — check your gland plate clearance if the panel is shallow. IP20 finger protection on the front; IP40 when installed in a modular enclosure. The toggle control provides a clear contact-position indicator, and a padlocking device can lock the switch in the OFF position for lockout/tagout procedures.
The 8/20 µs impulse withstand rating of 250 A confirms electromagnetic compatibility with surge events. Rated impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) is 6 kV, covering installation category III in typical distribution panels.
