Overview

The ATV12PU40M3 is a Schneider Altivar 12 variable frequency drive rated 4 kW / 5 hp on a 200 to 240 V AC supply, delivering 16.7 A continuous output with a 19.9 A input draw. It mounts to a base plate, carries an IP20 enclosure, and communicates via Modbus over a single RJ45 port. Shock rated at 15 gn 11 ms per IEC 60068-2-27 and vibration at 10 m/s² over 13 to 200 Hz, it handles machine-mounted duty. No internal EMC filter is fitted — plan an external filter for conducted emissions compliance.

Integration

Two analog inputs and four discrete inputs handle speed reference and start/stop logic; one analog output and two discrete outputs feed back speed or status. Compliance covers UL 508C, IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 61800-3, CE, C-tick, NOM, GOST, and CSA — confirm local variant requirements before panel certification.
