The ATV630U15N4 is the standard variant of the Altivar Process ATV630 drive, sized for 380…480 V three-phase supply. It delivers 4.0 A continuous output at 4 kHz carrier, good for 1.5 kW normal-duty or 0.75 kW heavy-duty motor loads. An integrated EMC filter covers C2 compliance up to 50 m cable and C3 up to 150 m cable without an external filter. That saves panel space and a BOM line for most installations. STO (Safe Torque Off) rated SIL 3 is integrated, eliminating the need for an external safety relay.

Communications and I/O

Slot A supports plug-in communication modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, CANopen, BACnet MS/TP, or Ethernet Powerlink. Modbus TCP and Modbus serial are standard on the base unit. Eight discrete inputs are onboard, with DI7 and DI8 configurable as 0…30 kHz pulse inputs. A dual-slot relay extension and I/O extension cards are available for additional feedback or control.
