Drive fit and lifecycle
The Schneider Electric ATV930U07N4 is an Altivar Process ATV900 variable speed drive rated for 0.75 kW normal duty / 0.37 kW heavy duty asynchronous or synchronous motors on a 380...480 V three-phase supply. Continuous output current is 2.2 A at 4 kHz for normal duty, 1.5 A at 4 kHz for heavy duty. The variant includes an integrated braking chopper, so deceleration energy can be dumped into an external resistor rather than relying on DC injection alone.
Compliance and power interface
CE marked, with UL 508C and IEC 61800-3, IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 61000-3-12, IEC 60721-3, IEC 61508, and IEC 13849-1. Power input: 380-480 V three-phase. Control supply is dual: an external 24 V DC (19-30 V) for digital inputs, plus an internal 24 V DC (21-27 V) for STO and digital inputs. An internal 10.5 V DC reference supply is available for a 1-10 kOhm potentiometer. Insulation test at 500 V DC, 1 MOhm for 1 minute to earth.
Mechanical and mounting
Wall mount, vertical +/-10 degrees. IP21, UL type 1 enclosure — cabinet-mount only, not for washdown. Control screw terminals accept 0.5-1.5 mm² (AWG 20-16); power terminals (line, motor, DC bus) accept 2.5-6 mm² (AWG 14-10). Cooling air volume 38 m³/h, noise level 54.5 dB. Vibration resistance 1.5 mm peak at 2-13 Hz, 1 gn at 13-200 Hz per IEC 60068-2-6. Shock 15 gn, 11 ms per IEC 60068-2-27. Operating altitude 1000-4800 m with 1% derating per 100 m above 1000 m.
Communications and expansion
Built-in Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus serial. Slot A accepts optional Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, or CANopen modules. Slot B and slot C allow I/O and relay expansion. Data rates up to 100 Mbits, also 9600/19200 bit/s for serial. Support for half/full duplex, auto-negotiation on Ethernet lines.
