Supply rails and what they split

The drive uses three separate supply domains: an external 24 V DC (19-30 V) for digital inputs, an internal 10.5 V DC for a reference potentiometer, and another internal 24 V DC (21-27 V) for the digital inputs and STO safety circuit. The STO rail is isolated from the control logic supply — that matters for SIL-rated installations where you want the safety loop independent of any control-side fault. Wire the external supply accordingly; the split keeps the nameplate clean. Control terminals are screw-type, 0.5 to 1.5 mm² (AWG 20 to 16). Line and motor terminals are screw, 2.5 to 6 mm² (AWG 14 to 10) for line side and 4 to 6 mm² (AWG 12 to 10) for motor. DC bus terminals also 2.5 to 6 mm² torque the same way. Keep the strip length standard and the torque driver set, and you won't fight terminations.

Network integration: what's on board, what's in the slot

EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP on the integrated Ethernet port; Modbus serial configurable for 9600, 19200, or 4.8 kbps with odd/even/no parity, up to 247 addresses. Slot A accepts optional modules for Profibus, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, or CANopen.
