Overview

The ATV950D30N4EU is a Schneider Altivar 950 compact enclosed drive rated 30 kW / 40 hp with 61.5 A output at 480 V three-phase, built for constant or variable torque loads. It ships with an integrated EMC filter, a load break switch, and a braking chopper inside an IP55 wall-mount enclosure. Network connectivity covers EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and Modbus serial via two RJ45 ports with auto-negotiation. The drive carries CE, UL 508C, IEC 61800-3, IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 61508, RoHS, REACH, ATEX, DNV-GL, CSA, ABS, and Bureau Veritas certifications.

Sizing and I/O

The 61.5 A output at 480 V supports a 30 kW / 40 hp motor with 22371 W power out. The drive provides 10 digital inputs, 3 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, and 2 digital outputs, enough for basic standalone control without an external I/O block. Compared to the ATV950D37N4EU, which is a higher-current variant, the ATV950D30N4EU shares the same mechanical footprint, communication options, and IP55 enclosure, so a panel designed for the larger drive accepts this unit without rewiring or re-drilling.
