The ATV950U30N4U is a current-production Altivar Process ATV900 variable speed drive rated for 3-phase 380-480 V supply, delivering 7.2 A continuous output at 4 kHz switching frequency for normal duty (3.0 kW motor) or 5.6 A for heavy duty (2.2 kW). Integrated braking chopper handles regenerative energy without an external module; the IP55 enclosure allows wall mounting in dusty or washdown areas yet still requires clearance for the cooling airflow. Safe Torque Off (STO) circuitry is built in, powered from a dedicated 24 V DC supply (21-27 V) — wire the STO loop separately from the main control supply to maintain SIL 3 integrity.
