Lexium 18 servo motor with integrated holding brake — 1 kW, IP67
The BEH18LH1033MF6C is a Schneider Electric Lexium 18 servo motor with a holding brake, delivering 1000 W continuous power at 220 V single-phase input. It spins to 3000 rpm nominal speed with a continuous stall torque of 3.18 N.m and a peak stall torque of 9.54 N.m at the same voltage. The integrated holding brake holds 8 N.m when de-energized, which means the load stays put on a power loss or E-stop without a separate mechanical brake. This is a common requirement for vertical-axis applications in packaging, material handling, or machine tool spindles where the load must not drift.
Feedback and environmental sealing for washdown zones
Feedback comes from a 17-bit magnetic multi-turn encoder — 131,072 counts per revolution with multi-turn absolute position tracking. This eliminates the need for a home cycle after power-up in applications where the machine must know its exact position across power cycles, such as pick-and-place gantries or rotary indexing tables. The motor body and shaft seal carry an IP67 rating, meaning the housing is dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion. This suits food-and-beverage filling lines, washdown stations, or outdoor conveyor sections where hose-down cleaning is routine.
Mechanical interface and mounting dimensions
Mounts to a 100 mm Asian standard flange with 9 mm mounting holes. The shaft is 24 mm diameter, 45 mm long, with a parallel key (8 mm key width). Overall dimensions are 156 mm deep (motor body length plus shaft), 100 mm wide, and 144.5 mm tall.
The electrical connection uses two male/female connectors; the mating cable set (not included) must be ordered separately to complete the power and feedback link.
