Active production — 1500 W servo with 23-bit multi-turn feedback
The BEH18LH1533CF6C is a current-production Lexium 18 servo motor from Schneider Electric, rated for 1500 W continuous output power at 220 V single-phase input. It delivers 4.77 N.m nominal torque at 3000 rpm, with a peak stall torque of 14.31 N.m for short-duration acceleration moves. The 23-bit multi-turn optic encoder provides absolute position feedback over multiple revolutions — no homing sequence needed on power-up for rotary axes with limited travel.
Holding brake and mechanical interface
An integral holding brake with 8 N.m holding torque keeps the load locked when the drive is disabled — essential for vertical-axis Z-spindles or gantry applications where the load must not drift under gravity. The shaft is 24 mm diameter with a 45 mm parallel keyed end (key width 8 mm), mating to standard Asian-flange mounting (100 mm flange, 9 mm mounting holes). Dimensions: 176 mm length, 100 mm width, 144.5 mm height. The IP67-rated enclosure handles washdown environments — the sealing is at the shaft and connector interfaces, not just the housing.
Motor constants and thermal limits
Torque constant is 0.535 N.m/A at 40 °C, and the back-EMF constant is 36.5 V/krpm at the same temperature — these define the current-to-torque mapping and the voltage rise with speed. Continuous stall current is 8.9 A; the maximum current (Irms) is 26.7 A at 1.5 kW, 220 V. The 10-pole motor uses air cooling — no external fan or liquid loop required. Maximum radial force is 686 N, axial force 196 N — these set the bearing load limits for belt-drive or direct-couple applications.
The electrical connection uses two male/female connectors — the mating half and pinout should be confirmed against the drive interface before cabling.
