The BEH18LM3033MA6D delivers 9.8 N.m continuous stall torque at 380 V three-phase, with the same figure as the nominal torque rating — meaning the motor can hold full rated torque at standstill without thermal derating. Peak stall torque reaches 29.4 N.m at 380 V, giving a 3:1 torque margin for acceleration and deceleration transients. Nominal speed is 3000 rpm, limited to 3000 rpm maximum mechanical speed. Continuous stall current is 10.13 A; maximum current Irms is 30.39 A at 3 kW, 380 V. The torque constant of 0.967 N.m/A at 40 °C lets you estimate required current for a given load torque.
Feedback and mounting — what the encoder and flange tell you
The 17-bit magnetic multi-turn absolute encoder provides position feedback without requiring a homing cycle after power loss — the motor knows its shaft position on restart. This is a magnetic type, tolerant to contamination and vibration compared to optical encoders. Motor flange size is 130 mm with an Asian standard flange pattern — 4 mounting holes at 9 mm diameter. Shaft diameter is 28 mm with a parallel key, shaft length 63 mm. No second shaft end, no holding brake. Maximum axial force Fa is 196 N; maximum radial force Fr is 686 N. These limits govern direct coupling to the load — belt drives or overhung loads must stay within these force envelopes.
Environmental sealing and cooling
IP67 protection means the motor body and shaft seal withstand washdown — suitable for food-and-bev lines, washdown zones, or outdoor installations without a secondary enclosure. Cooling is air-cooled via the motor surface.
