The BEH18MM1523CF6C delivers 1.5 kW continuous output power at 2000 rpm nominal speed from a single-phase 220 V supply. That power band suits medium-duty indexing, conveyor, or packaging axes where the load torque stays under 7.16 N.m continuous (the continuous stall torque at 220 V).
The integrated holding brake delivers 16.0 N.m holding torque — enough to hold a vertical load at rest without a separate brake resistor or external power-off brake. The brake is energized-to-release; power loss engages the brake, so the axis stops and holds on a fault or E-stop. Feedback is a 23-bit optic multi-turn encoder. 23 bits per revolution gives 8,388,608 counts per turn — position resolution fine enough for sub-arcminute angular accuracy in a direct-drive or low-ratio gearbox. Multi-turn tracking means the absolute position is known across power cycles without a homing move, provided the encoder battery (if fitted) is maintained. The motor uses an Asian standard flange with a 130 mm flange size and four mounting holes — the same bolt pattern as common 130-frame servo mounts. The shaft is 22.0 mm diameter, 58.0 mm long, with a parallel key (8.0 mm key width). No second shaft end, so encoder or brake access is at the rear only. Maximum axial force on the shaft is 196 N; maximum radial force is 686 N. These set the allowable belt tension or coupling misalignment before the bearing life degrades. The 10-pole motor design keeps cogging torque low — relevant for smooth low-speed profiling without dither.
