Torque-speed profile and holding brake
The BEH18MM2023MF6D delivers 9.55 N.m nominal torque at 2000 rpm (380 V three-phase), with a peak stall torque of 28.65 N.m. Continuous stall torque is the same 9.55 N.m — the motor can hold that torque indefinitely at standstill without overheating. The integrated holding brake provides 16.0 N.m of holding torque — enough to keep a vertical load from drifting when power is removed. The brake is spring-applied, power-released; it engages on power loss or drive disable.
Feedback and environmental rating
The 17-bit magnetic multi-turn encoder gives absolute position feedback over 131,072 counts per revolution — no homing cycle needed after a power cycle. Multi-turn resolution tracks absolute position over 2048 revolutions before wrapping. IP67 protection means the motor body and connectors tolerate washdown — suitable for food-and-bev or wet machining lines without a secondary cover. Air-cooled, no liquid cooling circuit to maintain.
