That torque rating is the continuous stall torque as well — the motor holds 18.46 Nm at zero speed without overheating, provided the continuous stall current of 10.26 A is not exceeded. Peak stall torque reaches 55.38 Nm at 380 V, with a maximum permanent current of 30.78 A. The torque constant is 1.8 Nm/A at 40 °C, so the drive current loop scales linearly up to that peak — useful for acceleration transients or overcoming static friction in a loaded axis.
IP67, holding brake, and encoder — deployment constraints
Rated IP67, the motor body and connector interface withstand washdown and airborne particulates — suitable for food processing, packaging, or machine-tool coolant environments. The holding brake is rated at 50 Nm static holding torque, enough to lock a vertical axis or maintain position with the drive disabled. Feedback comes from a 17-bit magnetic multiturn encoder — 131,072 counts per revolution with absolute position tracking over multiple shaft turns. No battery-backed backup is required; the multiturn count is maintained magnetically. The encoder type is magnetic, not optical, so it is immune to oil mist and condensation that fog glass discs.
Flange, shaft, and mechanical integration
The motor flange is 180 mm, Asian standard pattern with four mounting holes. The shaft is 35 mm diameter with a 79 mm length, parallel keyed (10 mm key width), and no second shaft end — so the load couples only on the drive side. Maximum radial force Fr is 1470 N, maximum axial force Fa is 490 N; belt-drive or overhung-load applications must respect these limits to avoid bearing overload.
