The BMENUA0100H is a communication module in the Modicon M580 range that acts as an OPC UA server supporting up to 10 simultaneous client connections. In standard sampling mode the module can serve up to 50,000 monitored items, with a minimum publishing interval of 250 ms. Fast sampling mode reduces the maximum to 2,000 monitored items but drops the minimum publishing interval to 20 ms. This module is designed for applications where real-time data access from the controller to level 2 or 3 systems is required, without imposing extra load on the CPU backplane—power is drawn directly from the rack.

The module occupies one Ethernet + X-bus slot on the main rack and is 1.3 in (32 mm) wide, 5.2 in (131 mm) tall, and 3.39 in (86.05 mm) deep. It is hot-swappable per the CCOTF function, meaning configuration changes on the fly are supported during runtime.
