Commissioning notes
The BMI0702P07A is a three-phase servo motor in the BMI series, rated for 208-480 VAC supplies with nominal speeds from 1800 to 4400 rpm depending on line voltage. Nominal torque ranges from 2.0 to 2.4 Nm across that voltage band; continuous stall torque is a flat 2.48 Nm, based on a continuous stall current of 2 A and a torque constant of 1.15 Nm/A. Peak stall torque is 6.8 Nm. Feedback comes from an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder — position is retained through power cycles, no homing required after a restart. The motor carries an integrated EMC filter, so additional line filters are unnecessary unless the application has very strict emissions limits. Shaft IP54, housing IP65. Natural convection cooling. Electrical connection is via a printed circuit board connector; the mating half is not included. Shaft is untapped (no keyway), 11 mm diameter. Flange is 70 mm, centring collar 60 mm, overall length 268 mm.
