The Schneider BMI0702P26F is a three-phase servo motor delivering 400 W at 208 V, 800 W at 400 V, and 900 W at 480 V three-phase supplies. It comes with an integrated holding brake rated at 3 N·m and an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface feedback encoder that remembers the position at power-off — no homing cycle needed. The motor is IP65-rated and cooled by natural convection, so it can sit in washdown zones without a dedicated enclosure.
Mounting & Connection
Mounts to an international standard flange with a 70 mm centering collar and 5.5 mm mounting holes. The shaft is 11 mm diameter, 23 mm long, untapped. Electrical connection is via a PCB connector — plan for a right-angle header on your cable harness. The integrated EMC filter saves a separate component and panel space.
Field Service Note
The holding brake draws 5 W when engaged. If swapping a unit mid-production, note that the Hiperface encoder requires a compatible drive — verify your servo drive supports absolute single-turn SinCos before swapping. The natural convection cooling means no fan to fail, but ensure ambient temperature stays within the motor's derating curve if stalled for more than a few seconds.
