The BMI0702T12F is a Schneider Lexium 32i servo motor, 700 W output, 2.48 Nm rated torque at 115–230 V single phase, with an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder providing 131072 points/turn x 4096 turns. The motor includes a holding brake, IP54 enclosure, keyed shaft, and natural convection cooling; it mounts on an international standard flange with a 10.16 mm shaft diameter.

Versus the BMI0702T12A (no brake), the BMI0702T12F adds a holding brake and increases rotor inertia from 1.13 kg·cm² to 1.24 kg·cm² — the higher inertia slows acceleration response, so tune the drive's velocity loop gains when swapping from a brake-less variant. Versus the BMI0702T16F (single-turn encoder), the BMI0702T12F uses an absolute multiturn encoder with 131072 points/turn x 4096 turns versus 32768 points/turn — choose the multiturn version when the axis must retain position across power cycles without a homing routine.
