Motor
Single-phase servo motor from the Bosch Rexroth BMI series, built for applications where three-phase power isn't on the panel. The BMI0702T22F runs on 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, and delivers 700 W output on a 230 V line or 400 W on 115 V. At 230 V, nominal speed is 4000 rpm; drop to 115 V and it tops out at 1700 rpm. The integrated EMC filter keeps conducted emissions off the line — eliminates an external filter on the panel door. Feedback is an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder — no homing sequence after a power cycle, position is retained even with the motor rotated by hand. The holding brake (3 Nm, 26.6 lbf.in) holds vertical loads at standstill; brake pull-in power is 5 W. IP65 rating means it survives washdown and wet environments as long as the cable gland is seated. Single-phase input simplifies installation in retrofit sites where only a line and neutral are available. The integrated EMC filter is the bigger convenience — no extra component to wire and no ground-loop headache from a third-party filter. The Hiperface encoder pairs with Rexroth drives natively; if you're mating it to a third-party drive, verify the resolver emulation or encoder conversion required. Maximum current draw is 17.7 A RMS per phase at either voltage level.
