Servo Motor with Hiperface Feedback
The BMI0703P11A servo motor from the BMI series runs on three-phase 208...480 VAC supply and delivers 2.9 Nm nominal torque at 3300 rpm (400 V base). It carries an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface feedback encoder — the dominant industrial interface for high-resolution position control — and an integrated EMC filter that keeps line noise low without an external box. Nominal power is 900 W at 400/480 V, derated to 450 W at 208 V. Peak stall torque holds at 8.6 Nm across the voltage range, and continuous stall torque is 3.4 Nm.
Mounting and Interface Notes
Motor flange size is 70 mm (2.8 in) with a 60 mm centring collar and 5.5 mm mounting holes — standard international flange pattern. Shaft is keyed, 14 mm diameter, 30 mm length, with a 5 mm keyway. Electrical connection is via printed circuit board connector, rated IP65 on the housing and IP54 on the shaft. The unit is cooled by natural convection — no fan, no forced airflow needed.
