Servo motor fit and performance
The BMI0703P37F is a three-phase servo motor with a 14 mm keyed shaft, integrated holding brake, and absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface feedback, rated for supply voltages from 208 to 480 V. Shaft length is 30 mm, flange size 70 mm, and centring collar depth 2.5 mm—these match a standard 70 mm flange mount. IP65 enclosure keeps coolant and dust out. Nominal torque varies with the applied line voltage: 2.9 N.m at 208 V, 2.7 N.m at 400 V, 2.3 N.m at 480 V. Peak stall torque holds at 8.6 N.m across that range; continuous stall torque is 3.4 N.m. The holding brake delivers 3 N.m static torque, enough to hold a vertical load once the motor is at rest. Current draw tops out at 12.5 A RMS (same for 208, 400, and 480 V). Nominal speeds shift per voltage: 1600 rpm at 208 V, 3300 rpm at 400 V, 3900 rpm at 480 V. The integrated EMC filter and natural-convection cooling simplify panel layout. Lifecycle stage is current—no end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy scramble.
