Integrator's motor note

BMI1002P26F is a BMI-series servo motor with a 100 mm International standard flange, rated for 208–480 V three-phase supply. It delivers 5.1 Nm continuous stall torque at 400 V, with a peak stall torque of 14 Nm across all supply voltages. The motor includes an integrated holding brake rated at 5.5 Nm holding torque and an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder for position feedback without a homing cycle. Cooling is by natural convection. The IP65 rating allows installation in washdown or dusty environments without additional enclosure.

Mounting & installation

Mount using the 100 mm flange with four 9 mm through-holes and a centring collar depth of 3.5 mm. The shaft is 19 mm diameter, 40 mm long, untapped, with no second shaft end. Electrical connection is via PCB connectors. The integrated EMC filter reduces conducted emissions on the supply lines. Rated radial force at the shaft is 990 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 580 N at 5000 rpm. Maximum permissible axial force is 20% of the radial load. Natural convection cooling limits duty; forced-air or liquid cooling is not fitted.
