Overview

The BMI1002P36A is a Schneider BMI-series servo motor, order code BMI1002P36A, with 10 poles, 1000 W rated power, and 4 A continuous current on a 480 V three-phase 60 Hz supply. It carries an IP65 rating, a keyed shaft, and a single-turn absolute SinCos Hiperface encoder with 32768 points per turn, and is compatible with the Lexium 32i drive family. The motor uses natural convection cooling, has an integrated EMC filter, and mounts on an international standard flange with a 100 mm square frame.

Selection notes

The integrated EMC filter eliminates the need for an external filter in most installations, saving panel space — the motor's 100 mm square frame and 2.54 mm depth (connector) keep the footprint compact. Natural convection cooling means no fan noise or filter maintenance, but the motor must be mounted with adequate airflow around the 100 mm frame to avoid derating.
