The BMI1002T36F is a single-phase servo motor in a 100 mm flange — the kind you drop into a precision positioning axis. Absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface feedback means no home routine on power-up, and the holding brake (5.5 N.m) locks the shaft when the drive drops out. Rated IP65, so coolant spray on a machine tool won't faze it. EMC filter is integrated, saving you a line reactor if the drive side is clean.
Mounts to IEC standard flanges with a 100 mm pilot diameter and 0.1 in (3.5 mm) centring collar depth. Shaft is 0.7 in (19 mm) keyed, 1.6 in (40 mm) long — common for direct coupling to leadscrews or pulley drives. No second shaft end, so all the feedback work is on the back side. Cooling is natural convection — keep ambient airflow adequate but no forced fan required. Connector is a PCB header; plan the cable exit accordingly.
