Ratings that drive the fit
The BMXDAI1614: Sixteen 120V AC inputs, each pulling 2 mA – so you get a Type 1 load curve without flooding the backplane. Guaranteed ON above 79V, OFF below 40V (sensor OK/fault threshold at 85V). Response: 10 ms ON, 20 ms OFF – slow enough to ignore contact bounce, fast enough for conveyor interlock logic. Channel-to-channel and channel-to-bus isolation at 1780 Vrms for one minute – that's the 60 Hz dielectric strength that keeps PLC ground loops from becoming cascading failures. Pollution degree 2, 5000 m altitude with derating.
86 mm deep, 32 mm wide, 134.6 mm tall – sits on a standard DIN rail in the X80 rack. IP20, so keep it inside a closed panel. 2- or 3-wire sensors: you need one external fast-blow 0.25A fuse per group of channels. Power draw: 126 mA at 3.3V DC plus 76 mA typical from the backplane, total dissipation 5 W. That leaves headroom for a few more slices in the same rack. Local diagnosis: green RUN LED, red ERR and I/O LEDs, plus one green per channel. MTBF 3700000 H.
