The BMXDDI3232H: Hot-swap is baked in, so you can pull this slice without killing the rack power. That keeps the fast nickel on the production floor instead of a scheduled shutdown. Inputs handle 12 or 24 VDC, typical draw is 3.3 mA per point at 24 V, and the module eats 130 mA from the backplane at 3.3 V. Response time is 4 ms typical, 7 ms max — fast enough for most discrete monitoring.

Quality-doc control note: the module carries IP20, pollution degree 2, and operates from 0 to 2000 m without derating (2000–5000 m with derating). Shock resistance is 30 gn, vibration 3 gn. The typical power dissipation is 4.7 W — manageable in a crowded rack, but worth factoring into your panel thermal budget.
Wiring and integration – fits the standard X80 slot
X80 footprint: 86 mm deep, 32 mm wide, 134.6 mm high. Accepts 2- or 3-wire sensors with positive or negative logic. The local signalling mirrors the standard X80 diagnostic scheme, so field service techs can walk up and read the fault without scrolling through the controller. Paralleling of outputs is supported if you need to combine groups for higher current, but watch the total package dissipation when driving loads at high ambient temperature.
