The BMXDRA0815H is an 8-channel relay output module in the Modicon X80 family, built for severe environments with conformal coating and gas/dust/salt ingress protection. Conventional free air thermal current is 3 A per contact. The electrical durability table is the real lifetime guide: at 200…250 V AC, AC-15 load with a 0.4 load factor gives 1,000,000 cycles at 10 VA but only 150,000 cycles at 220 VA. Sizing the switched load within those curves avoids premature contact wear.

Severe environment and mounting

IP20-rated housing, 20-way terminal block. Conformal coating combined with gas class Gx, 3C4, dust class 3S4, salt level 2, and fungal resistance makes it suitable for damp, corrosive, or dusty panel environments. Operating temperature spans -25…70 °C. Vibration 3 gn, shock 30 gn — fits most industrial machinery panels without additional dampening.
