It is a 4-pole, 800 A frame, manually operated unit with a fixed mount on a backplate — sized for a distribution panel main or a large feeder. The MicroLogic 5.0 E electronic trip unit provides LSI protection (overload, short-time short-circuit, instantaneous) plus an integrated energy meter, and the LCD display lets you read real-time metering and trip data without a separate panel meter. Rated 800 A at 50 °C, it carries a 50 kA Icu breaking capacity at 415 V AC (the N code), with higher ratings at lower voltages — 85 kA at 240 V, and still 30 kA at 690 V. That puts it in the middle of the NS frame's interrupting range: enough for most industrial distribution boards without over-specifying.
Mechanical durability is 10,000 cycles, electrical durability ranges from 2,000 cycles at 690 V In to 6,000 cycles at 440 V In/2 — adequate for a main breaker that sees infrequent switching. The 20-minute thermal memory means the trip curve accounts for prior heating, so nuisance trips on reclose after a warm overload are less likely.
The electronic trip unit (MicroLogic 5.0 E) includes an energy meter function — useful for sub-metering without an extra transducer. The LCD display and four red fault LEDs plus one yellow overload LED give local indication without opening the panel door.
