The C103MG100 is a TM-G thermal-magnetic trip unit for the ComPacT NSX100…250 and NSX100…250 DC breaker frames. It carries a 100 A rating at 40 °C and protects three poles with 3d protection. The 690 V AC / 750 V DC rated operational voltage means it handles both AC and DC networks — the DC ceiling is what matters for battery banks or DC bus distribution, where standard AC-only trip units would not coordinate. The LI protection profile gives thermal overload (L) with an adjustable long-time pickup Ir from 0.7 to 1 x In and a fixed long-time delay Tr of 120–400 s at 1.5 x In. The magnetic short-circuit (I) pickup is fixed at 320 A. For a generator application this fixed magnetic threshold means the breaker will not nuisance-trip on generator inrush if the peak is under 320 A — verify against your generator subtransient reactance before committing the BOM line.
The IP40 enclosure rating keeps tools and fingers out but is not washdown-rated; mount inside a panel with a higher-rated door.
Integration notes
The trip unit mounts fixed into the ComPacT NSX breaker — no separate DIN-rail footprint; it is integral to the breaker chassis. The 3P / 3D pole configuration means all three poles are protected, and the trip unit itself is a thermal-magnetic drop-in for the NSX100/160/250 frame. No earth-leakage module is included; if ground-fault protection is required, specify a separate Vigi add-on or choose a different trip unit variant. Network frequency is 50/60 Hz, so it works on either 50 Hz or 60 Hz systems without adjustment.
