It's rated to EN/IEC 60947-2, so it's built for distribution-level fault protection in commercial and industrial panels — not a miniature breaker for branch circuits. The TM-D trip gives you fixed thermal overload (L) and magnetic short-circuit (I) protection — no interchangeable rating plugs, no electronic adjustment. If you need adjustable long-time or short-time pickup, you'd be looking at a Micrologic electronic trip instead.
Mounts flat on a backplate — no DIN-rail clip. Front connections top and bottom, 35 mm pitch between poles. The toggle handle protrudes; you'll need a standard rotary handle extension if the door closes over it. IP40 front face keeps tools and fingers out, but it's not sealed against hose spray.
The ComPacT NSX platform is Schneider's mainstream MCCB line; this variant (NSX100F, 100 A, 3P, TM-D) is a standard catalogue item. For a BOM freeze, this is a stable line — no imminent PCN or LTB expected.
That matters for selectivity: if your upstream transformer can deliver 50 kA fault current, this breaker will clear it, but you may lose coordination with a downstream 25 kA MCCB. The utilisation category is A (no intentional short-time delay), so it trips instantaneously on magnetic pickup — fine for feeder protection, not for motor-starting coordination where you need a delayed trip.
