The TM-D gives you fixed thermal overload (L) and fixed magnetic short-circuit (I) protection — no adjustment dials, no interchangeable rating plugs. At 480 V AC (common for North American distribution) it still holds 25 kA Icu, and at 600 V AC it drops to 10 kA Icu. Mounts on a backplate — no DIN-rail adapter here. Four poles, neutral on the left, front-facing connections top and bottom. The 140 mm width and 161 mm height fit the standard ComPacT NSX cutout; the 86 mm depth leaves room for cable bending behind the panel door.
Compliance documentation is straightforward: the breaker carries EN/IEC 60947-2 certification, which covers the essential safety and performance requirements for low-voltage switchgear. IP40 front face keeps tools and fingers out; the back and sides rely on the enclosure's own IP rating.
Backplate-mounted, four-pole, front-connected. Five accessory slots on the front accept auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, under-voltage releases, or motor operators — the slots are shared, so you plan the accessory count before wiring. Horizontal or vertical mounting, flat on the backplate — no derating required for orientation.
