80 A MCCB for distribution boards — the so-what on the ratings
That rating puts it squarely in the industrial panel main or large-feeder role, not a branch-device slot. The neutral protection is set at 1 x Ir (full-rated current) — common for distribution where you want the neutral protected at the same level as the phases. No earth-leakage module built in; if you need ground-fault protection, that's an add-on Vigi block.
The Icu curve tells you where this breaker fits in a coordinated system. At 220/240 V AC it's rated 85 kA — high enough for most secondary substations. At 380/415 V AC it's 36 kA, at 440 V it's 35 kA, then it drops to 25 kA at 500 V, 22 kA at 525 V, and 8 kA at 660/690 V.

Electrical endurance depends on the voltage and current being switched: 50,000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current, 30,000 at full rated current at 440 V, 20,000 at 690 V at half current, and 10,000 at full 690 V. That's typical for a distribution MCCB — it's not a contactor meant for frequent motor starting, but it handles regular switching of the feeder circuit.
