Overview
The C125RB is a Schneider QO-series ring-type meter main rated 125 A continuous at 240 V, configured for 1-phase 3-wire overhead or underground service feed. Enclosure is NEMA 3R for outdoor rainproof mounting; surface-mount only, no bypass. Line-side lugs accept AWG 4 to AWG 1/0 aluminium or copper; service ground lugs take AWG 8 to AWG 1/0. The main disconnect is a 125 A, 10 kA interrupting rating breaker (ordered separately).
Sizing and comparison
At 125 A, the C125RB sits below the 400 A QU816D400CL meter main, which adds a Class 320 lever bypass and a 200 A breaker. Pick the C125RB for a 125 A service entrance where no bypass is required; the QU816D400CL suits higher-current, bypass-needed installations.
The C125RB is in active production. It carries UL E-6294 listing and is marked for California Proposition 65 compliance. Warranty is 18 months from date of manufacture.
