The TM-D provides L (overload, thermal) and I (short-circuit, magnetic) protection per EN/IEC 60947-2. For a 480 V AC system, the rating drops to 65 kA Icu per UL 60947-4-1; at 600 V AC it holds at 15 kA Icu.
Mounts on a backplate in either horizontal or vertical orientation (flat on the back). The 140 mm width, 161 mm height, and 86 mm depth fit standard distribution panel cutouts. Front connections on both upside and downside simplify busbar and cable routing. The 35 mm connection pitch matches standard busbar systems. IP40 enclosure protection and IK07 impact resistance are sufficient for indoor panel environments; no additional sealing is required for dry locations.
Durability and duty
Mechanical durability is rated at 20000 cycles; electrical durability at 440 V In is 10000 cycles (20000 at In/2). At 690 V In, electrical durability drops to 5000 cycles. For a main breaker that cycles infrequently (once per shift or less), these figures are well within typical service life. For a switching duty that cycles multiple times per hour, the utilisation category A (non-frequent switching) applies — this is a distribution breaker, not a motor-starting contactor.
