The C25R32M150 is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX moulded-case circuit breaker, 3-pole, with a MicroLogic 2.2 M electronic trip unit rated 150 A at 65 °C. It is designed for motor protection duty, with tripping classes 20, 10, and 5 selectable via the trip unit. The electronic trip provides L (long-time), So (short-time with fixed delay), and I (instantaneous) protection curves tailored to motor starting profiles.
For a motor circuit, size the breaker to the motor FLA plus starting inrush; the MicroLogic 2.2 M's adjustable long-time pickup and delay let you coordinate with the motor thermal curve. Breaking capacity: 200 kA Icu at 415 V AC, 80 kA at 500 V, 65 kA at 525 V, 45 kA at 690 V. At 220–240 V it holds 200 kA. Class 20 is the standard for general-purpose motors; class 10 for submersible pumps or compressors with short acceleration; class 5 for very fast starts like servo drives. Electrical durability: 20,000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current, 10,000 at full rated current, and 5,000 at 690 V. For a motor-starting application, the electrical endurance at In/2 is the relevant figure — most motor circuits operate well below the breaker's continuous rating during normal running.
Connection pitch is 35 mm. IP40 enclosure protection; IK07 impact rating. Operating altitude 0–2000 m without derating, 2000–5000 m with derating. The toggle control is manual; no motor operator included. Five accessory slots available for auxiliary contacts, shunt trip, undervoltage release, or communication modules. No earth-leakage protection integrated — that would require a separate VigilT module or an external RCD.
