Motor protection breaker, 150 A, 200 kA at 415 V
The MA trip responds to short-circuit current only; thermal overload protection is handled separately by an upstream relay or motor starter.
At 690 V AC the Icu drops to 45 kA, still enough for most industrial secondary distribution. The 150 A frame (NSX250R) gives headroom for motor full-load current plus starting inrush; the magnetic trip picks up fast on locked-rotor or phase-to-phase faults. For selectivity with downstream breakers, the instantaneous trip threshold on the MA unit is fixed at roughly 12× In (1800 A), so a 50 A feeder breaker below it will clear a bolted fault before this one trips.
IP40 enclosure protection keeps dust out; IK07 impact rating handles accidental tool drops. The 105 mm width and 161 mm height fit standard ComPacT cutouts.
