What this MCCB delivers
The C25W35E160 is a ComPacT NSX250HB2 molded-case circuit breaker with a MicroLogic 5.2 E electronic trip unit, rated 160 A at 40 °C across three poles. The electronic trip unit provides L (long-time overload), S (short-time short-circuit), and I (instantaneous) protection curves, plus integrated energy metering with time-stamped event logs, demand values, and power quality data. This is a distribution-grade breaker (Category A, per IEC 60947-2) designed for backplate mounting in switchboards or panelboards.
Trip unit and metering
The MicroLogic 5.2 E is the energy-metering variant of the 5.2 series. Beyond protection, it logs time-stamped histories, instantaneous and demand values, maintenance indicators, and power quality metrics — data you'd otherwise need a separate power meter to collect. This matters for motor or transformer feeders where repeated starts can accumulate heat. The LCD display and flashing LED indicators (green for ready, red at 105% Ir overload, orange at 90% Ir) give local status without opening the panel door.
Mounting and environment
Mounts on a backplate in horizontal or vertical orientation, flat against the surface. Front connections on both upside and downside simplify busbar or cable routing. The 105 mm width and 161 mm height fit standard MCCB cutouts; depth is 86 mm. IP40 front face (IK07 impact resistance) suits indoor panel installation — not rated for washdown. Relative humidity 0–95% non-condensing.
