MicroLogic 6.0 control unit for ComPacT NS630b–NS3200
The C60FM is the MicroLogic 6.0 electronic control unit for Schneider Electric's ComPacT NS630b–NS3200 new-generation air circuit breakers. It provides selective (L, S, I) plus earth-fault (G) protection, with the trip unit rating adjustable from 630 A up to 3200 A at 50 °C. The unit is designed for fixed-mounted breakers on 50/60 Hz AC distribution networks.
Protection settings and adjustability
Long-time pickup (Ir) is adjustable over 0.4–1.0 x In in nine steps, with delay (tr) settable from 0.7–16.6 s at 7.2 x Ir or 12.5–600 s at 1.5 x Ir. Short-time pickup (Isd) covers 1.5–10 x Ir, also nine steps, with delay (tsd) 0–0.4 s (I²t on or off). Instantaneous pickup (Ii) is adjustable from 2–15 x In, or can be switched off entirely. Earth-fault pickup (Ig) ranges from 0.2–1.0 x In (for In ≤ 1250 A), delay (tg) 0–0.4 s (I²t on or off). All adjustments are made via the front-panel dials — no software or programming tool is required.
Status and fault signalling
Three red LEDs indicate the type of electrical fault (overload, short-circuit, earth fault); a separate red LED flags an internal trip-unit error, and a yellow LED signals an overload pre-alarm. The thermal memory (20-minute time constant) retains the thermal state after a trip, preventing immediate reclosure onto a still-hot conductor.
Rated per IEC 60947-4-2, the standard for circuit-breaker control units. The unit is designed for distribution applications and supports 3-pole, 4-pole, and 3-pole + half-neutral (3t + N/2) configurations.
